His first press came in April 2017, in Thailand Tatler's tech issue. In “Gaga for Gadgets”, Prijayanat Kalampasut went looking for the country's early adopters, and M.L. Hariras Tongyai appeared as the tech devotee.
The piece introduces him by his nickname, Ham, then 23 and studying electronic engineering in London. It notes that his drone, a Parrot, was among the very first in Thailand, and that what interested him most was what drones could do on their own; he had already designed a security drone of his own, not yet built as a prototype.
He had also built an artificial intelligence ‘family’, a smart home and IoT, and the magazine photographed him beside a hologram of his hyperloop design.
Augma's own history marks it as his first press: the story of someone who builds what he imagines, an armour build included.
Technology is something I have loved since I was very young.
